Time Zone Converter
Working across time zones? This converter lets you quickly translate a time from one UTC offset to another. Enter the time in 24-hour format and both UTC offsets, and you will see the converted time along with the UTC equivalent and whether the conversion crosses a day boundary.
Time zones are expressed as offsets from Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). For example, Eastern Standard Time (EST) is UTC-5 and Central European Time (CET) is UTC+1.
Common UTC offsets:
- UTC-8: PST (Pacific Standard Time)
- UTC-5: EST (Eastern Standard Time)
- UTC+0: GMT / UTC (London, winter)
- UTC+1: CET (Central European Time)
- UTC+5.5: IST (India Standard Time)
- UTC+8: CST (China Standard Time)
- UTC+9: JST (Japan Standard Time)
- UTC+10: AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time)
Note: This calculator uses fixed UTC offsets and does not account for daylight saving time changes, which shift the offset by one hour seasonally in many regions.
