Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") governs how VastCalc calculators may be embedded on third-party websites using our embed code (iframe or JavaScript snippet). By embedding any VastCalc calculator on your website, you agree to comply with this Policy.

We provide our embeddable calculators free of charge for personal, educational, and commercial use. In return, we ask that you follow a few straightforward rules.

You may embed VastCalc calculators on websites that:

• Contain lawful content in your jurisdiction
• Do not mislead users about the source or purpose of the calculator
• Retain the "Powered by VastCalc" attribution and link as provided in the embed code
• Use the embed code as provided without modification to the calculator's functionality or appearance beyond the supported theme and layout options

You may not embed VastCalc calculators on websites or in contexts that:

• Promote, facilitate, or engage in illegal activities or content
• Contain hate speech, harassment, or content that targets individuals or groups based on protected characteristics
• Distribute malware, phishing, or other harmful software
• Host pirated, infringing, or stolen intellectual property
• Promote scams, fraud, or intentionally misleading financial schemes
• Contain pornographic or sexually explicit material
• Are designed primarily to generate ad revenue through deceptive means (e.g., made-for-advertising sites with no genuine content)

All VastCalc embeds include a "Powered by VastCalc" footer with a link back to vastcalc.com. You agree not to:

• Remove, hide, obscure, or modify the VastCalc attribution or logo
• Alter or redirect the attribution link to point to any URL other than vastcalc.com
• Use CSS, JavaScript, or other techniques to make the attribution invisible or unreadable
• Present the calculator as your own product without attribution

If you need a white-label solution without VastCalc branding, please contact us to discuss custom arrangements.

When embedding our calculators, you agree not to:

• Modify the embed code in ways that alter the calculator's formulas, outputs, or functionality
• Intercept, modify, or redirect data transmitted between the embed and our servers
• Scrape, crawl, or programmatically extract calculator content instead of using the provided embed methods
• Overload our servers with excessive requests or automated traffic

We reserve the right to block or disable embeds on any website that violates this Policy, at our sole discretion and without prior notice. We may also block specific domains or IP ranges if necessary.

If you believe your embed was blocked in error, please contact us and we will review the situation.

We may update this Policy from time to time. Continued use of VastCalc embeds after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
